Meet Anca

Born in Romania, Anca overcame incredible adversity, fleeing a communist dictatorship and living as a refugee before immigrating to the United States with her single mother. Her journey instilled in her a deep resilience and commitment to service that has shaped her remarkable career.

After earning her college degree, Anca began her career as a New York State Trooper, where she quickly distinguished herself through her dedication and leadership in community involvement. During her recent years she served as the School and Community Outreach Coordinator for the New York State Police, a role in which she partnered with schools and local governments to develop innovative safety programs and provide relevant staff development training. Her work extended to emergency planning, where she played a critical role in enhancing community preparedness and resilience.

She founded her own business, providing customized safety training and emergency planning solutions for schools and corporate institutions. Driven by her passion for creating safer environments, Anca is committed to empowering organizations with the knowledge and tools they need to navigate today’s complex safety challenges.

With her unique combination of personal experience, law enforcement expertise, and a deep understanding of community needs, Anca is a trusted leader in safety and emergency planning. Driven by a passion to create a safer world for her two young children, she’s extended her mission to include the collective community and all children. Anca and Level-Up Safety aims to connect people to otherwise scary real-world awareness and tactics by building compassion into the training and consulting platform for active response drills and incidents.
